Changing my child's last name due to divorce

I have recently divorced, and I want to change my son's, 4 years old, last name because he has my husband's last name. We have 50/50 legal custody, and I have 100% physical custody. Can I change his last name? If it's possible, what is the procedure?

Not likely without permission of father or re extraodinary circumstances.
