Legal Question in Family Law in California

Changing further proceedings to New Jersey

1) My divorce is final, but issues and motions need to be addressed. I live in New Jersey (now 3 years) and have physical custody of minor children. I need to know how to change any further legal issues to the State of New Jersey.

2) Who can I enforce signed court orders by my former spouse? His current residence, visitation, updated income and expense reports and tax returns.

3) How can I obtain court proceeding documents?

Re: Changing further proceedings to New Jersey

You did not state where your ex husband lives. If he continues to live in California then jurisdiction would remain in California. Support orders can be enforced through the interstate enforcement provisions of the respective states and federal statutes.
