child abandonment.

my husband and I are going thru a separation. We have two small children. He moved out of the house and is now saying I am setting him up for a case of abandonment of the children. Could that true? He sees them regularly and is still being finacially responsible for them

Thank you for your question. I think your husband is simply saying things out of hurt or anger. It takes quite alot to establish any kind of abandonment, and him moving out of the house is totally insufficient.
