Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child (age 16) wanting to leave house, where parental abuse may be presnt.

I have a question about the California laws that have to do with a child being very unhappy with their parents, enough where they are driven somewhat close to suicide, and leaving that house for a grandparents house. The parents of this child (age 16) do not treat this child with respect and verbally say things to them that a parent has no right saying to a child of this age. I was wondering what can be done or who should be contacted in this situation and if these things being said are considered abuse or not. Thank you. I would like to remain anonymous as to not bring more disturbance to the child.

Why don't you report it to the Dept of Child Protective Services. They'll keep your name confidential.
