Legal Question in Family Law in California

child care expenses

Hi, I have court order child support from my ex. In December 2008 the judge ordered that effective 10/01/08 any uncovered medical, denial, orthodontic, and optical expense to be shared equally between the custodial and non-custodial parent's and also ordered effective 10/01/08 Respondent shall pay directly to the custodial parent 50% per month toward child care expenses incurred due to custodial parents employment. that monthly contribution shall be paid with 10 days after receipt of proof. How do I go about filing this? Are there specific forms that I need to file with the court or do I just mail my ex a receipt from 10/01/08 to present of what I've paid and he then pays me the 50%? I want to do this legally so I'm looking for what ever help/advice I can get. I've stood in line for the family law facilitator at 7am only to be told that the 5th person in front of me was the last one to be taken for the day. Help please...... thank you so much in advance.

Re: child care expenses

You mail him a copy and keep record of the date and amount of the bill. You must mail the bill to him when it is received. You are not allowed to hold these bills and then slam him with several months of bills.
