Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Care and Responsibility

I want to know what legal possible grounds (if any ) I would have after finding out that after 20 yrs, devorced for 10 of them from the women(mother) in question. I have just found out I am NOT the father of a girl I had raised as my own. I had custody of the child, since the devorce. I have also found out that the mother and the (possible) real father knew from the beginning. My ex wife did not want him to have to pay child support. Is there any recourse, other than I am hurt and a sap! I know this is a vary vague question, I would respond to any question from those persons intrested in this inquiry.

Re: Child Care and Responsibility

What pupose other than vengence would taking any action have. You raised a child that you thought was yours, and hopefully loved and received love from. This is more valuable than any money you might from the mother. Have you considered the affect that making an issue of this will only hurt the child you raised.

In all probability any statute of limitations has run.

Re: Child Care and Responsibility

Fatherhood is more than a blood relationship. You likely have a child that sees you as the father and loves you much. Why end that.
