Legal Question in Family Law in California

child custody at beginning of divorce

How can I as a Father get equal time with my kids while I'm not in my house and living with my parents in a smaller place ?

I'm staying outside of the house to avoid arguments and a domestic dispute but I pay all bills and utilities.

Assuming you have been with the kids since birth and only recently moved out, you are in a position to obtain at least equal time with the kids. The court won't hold living with your parents on a temporary basis against you.
