child custody and change of venue

can you fight a change of venue and do you still file a response if it was sent by mail with no response form

If there is a strategic reason for fighting service, then you might want to discuss it in more detail with an attorney. If not, you might want to file a response. You've got to do one or the other, however.

Unless you file a response objecting to the motion to change venue, venue may be changed due to no other reason than, "No response filed." The moving party is not required to send you a "response form."
