Child Custody
My childs father refused to sign the birth certificate at my childs birth and has not helped financially or physically over the first year of her life and is now threatening to take me to court for visitation. If his name is not on the birth certificate is this legally possible?

Sure, that is probably why he is going to take you to court so he can prove that he is the father for visitation rights despite the absence of his name on the BC.
