Child Custody

I am divorced, it proceded uncontested because the whereabouts of my ex-wife are unknown, we have two children, the judgment gave me full custody of both children. My questions begins here. The location of my ex-wife is still unknown. What is the next step that I must take in locating her and finding my chilren?

The local district attorney's office should have a unit that works on child abduction cases. Take a certified copy of the court order to the DA's office and file a missing person report. This may be slower than paying for a private investigator, but it costs nothing.
