Child Custody

I would like to know if my ex-husband filed for physical or sole custody of my six month old son under the arguement of drug abuse and neglect. Due to me visiting family members?

If someone filed for custody of your child, they would have to give you notice by having you served with (given) a copy of the petition or other papers. The rest of your question, I don't understand.
