Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child custody

I live in Florida, I moved here a little les than a year ago. My ex lives in Ca. Since I have been here I have tried many times to work with her to set up visitations with my son, but she refuses to let me take him out of state. When I was living back in ca. I took her to court and was awarded joint custody, Legal and pysical. So I saw had my son at least 3 days a week. Then I was recalled for the millitary to go to Kuwait. After I got back I moved. I also have a restraining order on her, and there for have recorded many of our phone calls. I have a recording of her admiting that she is keeping my son from me and that I will never take him out of state, no mater what any court says. My son will be 3 in April, and soon will be starting school, I would like to spend as much time with him as possible before he starts. My question is, what are my chances of getting time with him before school and how much, and after he starts I want him for the entire summer and alternate Christmas. Like I said I have tried to work somthing out with her but she is impossible to work with.

Re: Child custody

You visitation with a three year old child you are not likely to get visits out of the state of California. A child that age is generally not able to be away from the primary custodial parent for lengthy periods of time . As an alternative you should try to get contact daily through a web cam over high speed internet.
