Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Custody

I did not marry my childrens mother. I pay regular child support through a wage attach with the District Attorney. I go to her home regularly to babysit while she works but she won't let me take them to my home. When I date other women, she threatens to move them out of state or not to let me see them at all. What are my custody rights and how do I go about legally enforcing them? I can not afford an attorney but I want more physical custody of my children.

Re: Child Custody

Check with the family court law clinic. You should be able to get some free legal assistance at the clinic.

Re: Child Custody

You should have joint custody with a child sharing order. Since you have not done very well on your own, I would suggest you seek the assistance of an attorney. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
