Child Custody, what is 50/50

Hello,

I have a 16 month old son out of

wedlock. I have an open child

custody court case and currently

have my son for two over night stays

every week. We go back to court April

2, 2008. I plan to ask for 50/50 legal

and physical custody.

What is the legal definition for 50/50

legal and physical custody?
