Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child custody

Mother in California, was awarded sole legal physical custody with no visitations to father, after father moved to North Carolina when mother was 6 months pregnant. Father recently started paying child support. Now wants legal visitations and still lives in NC. Child is 11 months. Child has never seen father. Father is very unstable and takes medication. What are the possibilities here?

Re: Child custody

The father will need to bring a motion in California for child visitation. There will probably be a lot of hoops that father will need to jump through and will probably not be able to follow through since he is unstable. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
