Child custody motions

I am trying to determine the steps- proper procedure in California for filing a motion for child custody, can you help me find step by step directions to do this?

Go to occourts.org and click on the "forms" button on the left side. At the top, you will see the forms packet called "Order to Show Cause." Those are the forms you need to fill out and file. I believe there are instructions there, as well.
