Child Custody and Parental Rights

My husband has a sex offense conviction and is serving 48 months probation and had to register. He is also a physical abuser. I want to divorce him but am afraid that he will get partial custody of our child. What are the possibilities?

A registered sex offender has virtually no chance of getting custody or visitation, except for the possibility of supervised visits.
