Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Custody

If two people are military, both from different states, stationed in CA together, never married nor lived together, they have a child, mother has remarried, she and the father of child are both discharged and mother wants to leave CA and go home with child, father fights her not to leave CA, he pays no child support nor exercises visitation set by CA court, he now requests jury trial to take child from her, what can she do to prove her case and a jury rule to allow her to come home. NO money left for an attorney due to previous 12 times in 2 yrs he has taken her to court, she has to represent reself. What can we do to end this nightmare and allow her to be a mother to her child?

Re: Child Custody

I'm confused by your question. The question says you are a user located in Georgia but the question talks about wanting to leave California (the state affects the answer). If you're actually in California let me suggest a specific resource online - Ask a Lawyer, located in the Delphi Law Forum, at http://forums.delphiforums.com/perlaw/messages , because one of the staff there is the Family law facilitator in a California county and specializes in helping pro se Calif. litigants (she even teaches classes to them). (Registation for that interactive site is free). That forum is moderated, so you have to wait a bit for your question to appear.
