child custody
im pregnant with my boyfriends child. we lived together but i moved out because i was afraid of his drinking and anger. im now thinking of breaking up with him for other reasons. He threatens to sue for full custody of our son if i end out relationship and im afraid that he might be able to. under what circumstances would he win a case such as this? everyone i know is telling me its impossible but i still fear that he might find some way to take my kid away. What can I do?

Mother's generally have an advantage with very young children. Mother's can breast feed a baby and the father cannot. Although his drinking and temper will weigh heavily against him. You will need proof of his drinking and temper. Consult with an attorney and discuss the facts of your case and why you are fearful of losing custody.
