Legal Question in Family Law in California

child custody

My son has visitation with my ex,after a year fighting in court because ex hurt my son, now when my son goes to his house for visitaion he is going to a 600 sq ft trailor with 6 people and sleeps on the floor, one of these people has severe psychotic problems and sees demons in all foreign objects and people and considers it their duty to set on fire these demons my son is scared and doesn't want to go back, I fear the trailor will be caught on fire have called the police and cps and they are pretty much saying they cannot do anything because this person hasn't hurt anyone yet, This summer my son is supposed to spend every other week at this place and I am afraid for his life, if I take him to court it is just my word against his as my son is just 10. Is there any other authorities I can call to look into this, what can I do?

You should consult with an attorney regarding a change of custody. The individuals that you describe in the mobile home could pose a serious threat to your son. A custody evaluation should review the individuals living in the home where your son visits. Retaining an attorney would be advisable.
