Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Custody

My son is now 14 years old and he want me to have custody with him. I am paying $300.00 child support for him. He usually live with his mom and now he move to Texas with his brother and go to high school there. He is not getting any money from his mom. Sometimes I give him his allowance and I told him if I only have custody with you I can directly give you the $300.00 that I send to the District Attorney that I send for your child support. His mom get the money from the District Attorney every month but never give him any allowance. How can I get the custody?

Re: Child Custody

You have to file a motion in the court asking them to modify custody.
