Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Custody

I spent one year in state prison for fraud. From 02/02/07 To 01/29/08. On 02/27/07 my ex-husband got legal and physical custody of our 2 daughters with ''reasonable monitored visitation'' upon my release. What is the legal defininition of that term. In the last 63 days I have seen them 9 times for atotal of 16 hrs. I would like to try to get an expidited custody hearing. The day after my release I filed insufficient OTSC papers. On my last hearing date the judge made no changes so I need to refile. My ex has a lengthy rap-sheet of drug posession, domestic violence and grand theft. How do I make the Judge aware. My girls want to see and talk to me more than he is allowing. I feel that if I don't fix this quickly, they will be subjected to more trauma than they have already been put through. Can someone please advise me on how I can act quickly. Thank you, Mom needs to fix what she broke.

P.S. Prior to this I had full custody for the past 9 yrs. providing them with great schools and extensive activities.

Re: Child Custody

File an OSC. In your declaration state facts, not opinions, hearsay or speculation. Just the facts.
