child custody and support

I filed for divorce and was able to find the respondent to serve him with summons and petition, however, now he has disapeared and we have issues of child custody and support pending, how do I go about finishing my divorce and have the issues of child support and custody open for future decision, that is when I can locate the respondent again what should I do, I want this divorce to end soon

If your ex has been served with a summons and complaint you can proceed by default and take an order for custody and support. Talk to your facilitators office or an attorney. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
