Description: We currently have a court order with the mother allowing up to 4 hours per week supervised. Last week the mother physically assaulted the children and caused mental anguish. The children ages 12 and almost 17 do not want to see her again. We have an emergency court date on the 27th of Feb. But until then, she wants her parents to supervise the visits. Whom the children are not comfortable with. Her mother was a witness to her interactions with the children last week and did nothing to stop her violence against them. She is an ex drug user and is very mentally unstable (bipolar and OCD). What can we do to stop her from seeing the kids between now and then? We have full legal custody. The police report was filed and we do have a copy of it. CPS was also called by the supervisor of the previous visits

Re: child custody
If you have an attorney then you should be discussing this with that attorney. If you do not have an attorney then you should retain an attorney to represent you in the custody case. Then you need to evaluate the situation to determine whether the children are in danger. If they are in eminent danger the refuse to allow further visitation.
