I want to see my child
My daughter is 11 yrs old. I've payed child support all of her life & I've never been able to see her. Just a picture once years ago. I want to see her But I don't have an address to where I can serve some kind of visitation papers. What can I do?

You should hire an attorney who would then file the appropriate custody papers with the Court. If an address for service of process cannot be found than the attorney will move to serve by publication. If you are in SoCal call me for a free consult at 818-998-1584

Contact the District Attorney in the county where you live. The DA has sources to locate a missing parent. This process can be slower than hiring an attorney.
Re: I want to see my child
You can get an order for visitation, but it won't do you any good if the mother doesn't know about it. If you are paying child support, I assume that it is through the DA. Retain an attorney who knows child sharing issues and paternity cases. He can file the motion and get an order from the court to have the DA locate the child (they may not be able to without an order) The DA will then server her the paperwork and you will begin down the long path to getting to know your child. Don't expect to take her alternate weekends and most of the summer right away. The child needs to know your first and be comfortable with you, but the beginning of any journey is the first step.
