Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child issues

My finance and I married on 1/7, the ex wife who has custody refuses to drop the daughter off with me even though my husband and I work for the same company stating per California Law she doesn't have to. She also moved from Irvine to Palmdale but put there daughter in a Kern County district school which has diffrent summer vacation times than any other school, yet she won't let us have her the same weeks we have had for the last 4 years stating we need to go by the court paperwork. What can we do to stop this childish behavior. She makes everything an issue and everything is a fight. Her family and her have kicked, hit, shoved and slapped the child and she states that she has been told this is not abuse.

Re: Child issues

If you believe that your custody arrangements no longer work and/or mom is in violation of orders, then consult with a family law attorney about whether there are grounds to seek a change of orders or what other steps might be in the best interest of this child. If you believe the child is being abused, you should make a report. For more information: http://dcfs.co.la.ca.us/faq.html
