child legalizations

i have an 8 year old that wasnt born in this country shes been here and i ve supported her but i dont have custody how do i legalize her

Your question is very unclear. If you are a parent and there is no dispute with the other parent, then you don't need "custody" orders from a court. You can take the child to the doctor, enroll the child in school, etc., and there is no issue.

But you say she wasn't born here, so you have US Immigration Service issues. What's your immigration status? If you are a US citizen, your child might be as well, if you are not, there is much to be considered.

You must have legal custody of child to change legal status.
