Legal Question in Family Law in California
Child Protection and teen lying..
Child protection law is starting to be
to lenient and teens use this to their
advantage. How does the Judge know
what's best for the child & how does
the Judge know if the child is just
making up stuff because her
demands (things she wants) aren't
met?

Re: Child Protection and teen lying..
Judges rely on the social workers that investigate the complaint to provide information. The recommendation of the social worker will be followed, unless the parents are able, with the help of an attorney, prove that the allegations are not true.
