Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Residency

My husband and I separated. During that separation I moved 4 hours away from him for a better job and help from friends and family in raising our 2 very young children. My husband now claims that he is going to get custody of the children because their residency was established in L.A. We moved August 14th. Has that been enough time to establish their residency in the new city? Can he really take my children away because I moved? By the way, he completely supported the move, even helped pack the boxes! Now he has had a change of heart.

He is attempting to pressure you into doing what he wants. The facts as you present them indicate that you have done noting wrong. You nontified him of the move and he implicitly agreed to the move. When he assisted you in the move. Get the help of an attorney if possible in proceeding with this matter.
