Legal Question in Family Law in California

if a child has supervised visitation at a center in SF CA,

Can the child ask to leave anytime during the visit and be granted that, not have to stay for the whole hour, if the child feels uncomfortable about the visit or does the the center workers make the child stay?

Do these people have any say so in any reports to the courts?

The supervised vistation providers are responsible for ensuring the safety of the children during the visit and would be in the best place to determine how the visitation is going. The supervised vistation providers are professionals and can assist the child in any reunification with an absent parent.

For self represented individuals you can consult with the family law facilitator self help center at your local court house.

As always please consult a local attorney prior to taking legal action. Good luck. Also please check out my Santa Clara County Family Lawyer blog.
