child suport
My ex signed on a piece of paper saying he would not attempt to collect child support from me. Will this hold up in court or can he still take me to court?

Based upon what you have said, it might stand up as a waiver. However, the safest bet is to have a document signed, approved and made a court order by a judge. It is highly unlikely that it would constitute a waiver of the right to collect support in the future. Generally, the courts would recognize such a waiver of future support. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

The courts retain jurisdiction over child issues until child is an adult and maybe beyond.
