Legal Question in Family Law in California

Getting child support after the age of eighteen to help pay for college.

I wanted to find out if there is a California law that states that the father must help pay for college and medical insurance if the child is eighteen and attending college. He is willing to pay child support until she is eighteen (she is seventeen now) but after that is not willing even though he can afford it, any information you have will be apprietiated.

Child support is payable until the child reaches 18 unless she is a full time high school student living with you, in which case it goes to hs graduation or age 19, whichever occurs first.
