Child support arrears- change of custody
I am custodial parent and non custodial parent owes over $8,000 child support non welfare. Now I may agree to a change of custody (same venue) San Diego County CA. What happens to my arrears? Will the DA let child support that I would pay just come out of the arrears she owes me? Child is 16 years old.

How the arrears will be dealt with will depend upon her financial circumstances, your financial circumstances and how the judge feels about each of you.
