Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support based on salary increase

My ex husband and I went to a paralegal to file our divorce papers in 1997. At that time we had 3 minor children which we agreed I would have physical custody and he would have visitation. As we had both had a job change when the divorce occurred I agreed to $200 a month per child as that is what he said he could afford. I have since learned he had a substantial increase in his income while our children were still minors but never increased the amount of his support nor paid any of the health insurance which I covered. The children are adults now but do I have any recourse for child support based on his income during that time since he never disclosed he had an increase in salary? The wording in the divorce settlement is very generic and just states that we had agreed on $200 per child with no wage assignment.
