Re: Child support

In California the court considers five factors:

1. The income of the non custodial parent;

2. The income of the custodial parent;

3. The number of children of the marriage and which parent they live with;

4. The amount of time the childr is with each parent;

5. The amount of income taxes which are actually paid.

There are other factors which the court considers, but which only a small effect on the support paid.

To determine the amount of support you should expect you need to either contact an attorney with the above information or access one of the web sights that have the computer program approved by the state available, there is a charge for the use of the program.
