child support
i have court ordered wage assign for child support & my ex keeps changing employers without giving me any notice. i recently found his new employer and sent a copy of the court order wage assign to them and they said they do not honor because it may be old/ they state they report new hjire employees to the state w/i 20 days & the state them advises if there are any wage assignment orders. if a pay period passes where i dont get my wage assign support, oh well. they cannot do anything about it they state. there have been a couple times now in the last 3 yrs that i have not received my child support amt. how do i handle this......

You should consult with an attorney about the possibility of filing an OSC in re Contempt. Each payment then he has missed is a separate count. The length of time you can go back to charge contempt is one year. The court can put him is jail for up to 5 days for each count of contempt. The threat of jail may impress upon him the need to promptly pay child support.
