child support
If your daughter suffers an injury, at 20 years of age, which leaves her unable to work or care for herself can the courts order child support even though the daughter is an adult at the time of injury? Spouse takes care of her.

Re: child support
California law provides that children that are able shall pay support for their parent. The same principle applies to parents duty to support their adult children that are unable to support themselves. The duty to support is dependent upon the parents ability to pay support.
