Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support

Per my divorce decree and the law, my ex-husband is to reimburse me for half of child care costs. He always sends it late and never sends the right amount, he deducts bogus amounts and calculates his reimb wrong every time. He has no child care since he works at home. Anyway, I am tired of hiring a lawyer. Is there any paperwork I can file to retrieve the amount he owes me. Since it is not a fixed amount each month, it would be hard to get a judgment for the same amt every month. Can he be forced to pay me a fixed amt every month based on averages, and then I reconcile it at the end of the year? I am really tired of it and wonder what the best way to approach this? I should mention his wages were garnished because he was consistently late and was not approachable. This solved that problem. I am looking for a similar solution to makes things less stressful. Thank you.
