Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support

in 1997 our divorce papers stated we both pay 1/2 medical bills for the kids and no child support. Then in 2000 he went for child support and I pay 600.00/mo, and for dental. Now he wants me to pay for half the dental that the insurance doesn't pay. My question is would my part of the dental come out of the child support , or do I half to pay it?
