Legal Question in Family Law in California

child support

I was divorced in Japan around 1990. Navy legal services made a divorce agreement which was signed by myself and spouse. I agreed to pay child support until age 22 of daughter if she is engaged in full time education effort. Ex and daughter now supposedly living in san diego but I have only ex's email address. Ex refuses to send college transcripts to prove that 20 year old is engaged in full time education effort and says if I need a transcript I can stop paying child support, basically refusing to send the document. Divorce has no records in US Court system. Navy legal service does not practice in civilian court. Japanese divorce decree has no child support demands. I have no contact with daughter as ex will provide no contact info in form of address or phone number. I do not wish to continue child support not knowing if daughter is meeting the terms of a full time educational endeavor which I believe is 12 semester hours per semester. I live in Indiana. I have paid child support through military allotment for over 15 years. while in Japan I just met ex and handed over check.
