Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Support Enforcement

Is it a lengthy process (weeks v. months)to carry out an arrest warrant on a non-custodial parent who has continuously evaded court orders for child support but who's ex-spouse knows their whereabouts, etc.? Just wondered because I've read postings everywhere on the internet about some outlandish ways in which non-custodial parents have been rounded up and hauled off. Is it that different from state to state? It seems like some states are more aggressive than others and some states just don't care at all.

Re: Child Support Enforcement

every state is different. it is a little easier to get it done just before an election.
