Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child support enforcement--only have a minute order filed

What do I do if only a minute order was filed in my child support case. The final order for support was never filed. And the minute order is not signed by a judge. I had a lawyer and he is now retired and I am unable to get a hold of him. I am trying to get my child support enforced, but can not do it because I don't have anything signed by a judge. But we did already go to court and it was ordered, but final papers were never filed. This was about 4 yrs. ago.

Thank you!!

Re: Child support enforcement--only have a minute order filed

You need to get a new Attorney to review your file and submit an order to be signed or do whatever else is needed to get your case back on track.
