Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Support

My ex-wife owes me almost $13,000 in back child support. And now she is in State Prison for the next 6 months on a some type of a probation violation. Reallistically will I ever see a penny of what she owes ? And would it be prudent to go back to court now to change the visitation arrangement? I have full legal and physical custody, she was seeing the kids once a month before she got into trouble again

Re: Child Support

Does she have any assets or the means to make money? Does she stand to inherit anything? If the answer to those questions is no, then no you probably wont get a penny. You can change the visitation order, but what difference would it make? When she gets out she'll probably go back and get another visitation order.
