child support

My fiance has one child outside of our relationship, he pays 0 in child support because he recieves SSI but if we marry will i have to pay child support on his behalf?

Re: child support

child support is based on his income, the mothers income and the amount of time he spends with the child. His child should also be receiving SSI based on father receiving SSI. Your income will be considered only to the extent that it affects the amount taxes that he pays.
