Child Support
I have, been fighting the child support system for awhile I asked for audit on my child support case. because monies was being taken from that i already paid to the mother of my child and have documentation of. the child support dept. said that they were auditng my case and that they would notify me of the outcome.welli would call periodically to find out the status but in the meantime the case had been stopped, they just recently re-instated the case and said thT I OWE 10,000 in arreages which is not correct. i was up todate and have proof of it.

It has been my experience that one must be more pro-active in this situation. I reccommend filing a Motion To Determine Arrearage, file it, serve it on all necessary parties, and attach your proof of payment and analysis. Ask the Court to determine that you are current in your support obligation. Please note that if you have been delinquent for any period of time, you have interest accumulations factored into the equation.
