Child Support

What happens if I filed for child support and the noncustodial parent is unemployed?

usually the court will give him time to find a job. after a few weeks, if he or she didn't find one, it would probably impute income at minimum wage and make a support order. basically courts believe that anyone could work for minimum wage.
