Child Support Fraud?
My Stepson Concieved a son here in California. Almost immediately his girlfriend moved to Arizona. So Far He's been a dead beat dad and not paying any Child support. Recently he has gotten his self on a better path is job searching. He knows he will have to pay Child support and back Child support to the State of CA. At Issue is that His Ex also filed papers and is receiving payments from the State of Arizona. He's recieved calls from Arizona asking him to pay. What are the steps he needs to take to clear his self in Arizona?

You state that the child was conceived and then the girlfriend moved to Arizona, I assume that means that the child was born in Arizona. With that being the case Arizona does not have jurisdiction over your son to enter a child support order. Your son should not sign anything with the state of Arizona or any child support action in that state unless he has received advice of an attorney. California has jurisdiction over the issue of child support and in California the court may not enter an order for support prior to the filing date of any action, unless the Mother is on welfare.
