child support
my friend has a child who is 12 years old . the mothers husban signed the birth certifacet. if he wants to get dna and become her legal father will he have to pay back child support?

If the child has received public benefits, he can be hit for reimbursement of up to 1 year prior to a case being filed. Otherwise, you can only get child support from the time a case is filed in court and going forward.
