child support says I need gaurdianship of my own daughter

My daughter's mother is deceased. My daughter lived with her aunt for a year, now she is living with me. Child support says I need to apply for gaurdianship of my child in order for them to stop garnishing my wages. Do I have to get gaurdianship, or custody, of my own child? How do I go about doing that?

You need to discuss this with an attorney. Was the aunt that the daughter lived appointed as her guardian. Also were you and the mother married? If you were not married have you established paternity. Gather all of the documents you can regarding your daughter's case and then take them to an attorney.
