Child support

my girlfriend and i have a 6 year old. we just recently split we have the kid 50/50 but its not on paper. i pay for babysitter and everything he needs when he is with me. if she files for child support can they get me for ''backed up child support''

please advise.

Normally you are only responsible for child support after a court order has been issued, but it will be retroactive to the date of filing. If she files, start putting that amount aside until the court decides the amount.
